Play Casino Hold'em

Casino Hold'em is a variation of the popular Texas Hold'em poker. Casino Hold'em differs from Texas Hold'em in that it is played against the house rather than against other players.

The aim of the game is to beat the Dealer's hand by getting the best possible five-card hand out of the two cards you are dealt and five community cards. To add to the excitement, you can also place a side bet that pays out if a pair of Aces or higher is dealt in the first five cards.

Placing Ante bet

Play begins when you place an initial bet, known as the Ante. Place a bet using one of the betting chips. To select a chip, click on the desired one with the left mouse button (the chip selected is indicated by the pointer). You may need several chips to reach the desired bet amount - in this case a stack of chips can be formed on the betting spot. There are several ways to place a chip:

Placing AA bet

The AA bet is an additional/side bet and cannot be placed alone. Place an AA bet on the AA betting spot in one of the ways described above.

The AA bet is evaluated on the first hand of 5 cards only. If you have a pair of Aces or better combination, you win the AA side bet. The AA bet is paid according to the payout table, displayed on the left side of the table.

Note: You should call to collect any AA side bet winnings. If you don't call, the AA bet is lost even if you have a valid hand.

The total bet value is displayed in a small square beside the chips placed. The Clear and Deal controls now become active.

Betting limits are displayed in the frame to the top left of the game table. To view betting limits, refer to Casino Betting Limits.

Removing /Decreasing a bet

To remove a bet completely or decrease its value, you need to remove the chip(s) placed. You may do this in several ways:

Dealing

Fold
Once the Fold control is clicked, two last community cards are dealt, for a total of five. The Dealer's cards are revealed. The hands formed are evaluated. The game round is over and you lose both the Ante and AA (if placed) bets.

Call
To continue the game, click on the Call control. In this case, one more bet is placed in the Call betting spot, equal to double the Ante. Two more community cards are dealt, for a total of five. The Dealer's cards are revealed. The best paying hands are formed for you and the Dealer, using 5 out 7 available cards. The hands formed are evaluated. The cards used to form a winning combination are indicated with arrows.

The Dealer must have at least a pair of 4s to qualify.

Possible Game Outcomes

Note: If you and the Dealer have hands of the same type, the one that includes the card of highest value wins (i.e. Three Kings beats Three Queens; a flush of A, 6, 5, 4, 3 beats a flush of K, J, 10, 8, 7). If the Dealer and a player have exactly the same hand, the bet is a push - it doesn't win or lose. In this case the Call bet is returned to the player, although the AA bet can still win.

To start a new game round, click on the New Game button. To repeat the bets placed in the previous game round, use the Repeat control.
